Berat Albayrak (born 1 January 1978 in Istanbul) is a Turkish professional businessman. Albayrak began his professional life in 1996, following his graduation from Istanbul University School of Business Administration. He is the son-in-law of Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. He joined Çalık Holding in 1999. He was appointed as Çalık Holding's US Office Financial Director in 2002 while he enrolled in MBA Program at Lubin School of Business , Pace University in New York . In 2004, Albayrak appointed as the U.S Country Manager of Çalık Holding. Upon his return to Turkey in 2006, Albayrak first served as Assistant General Manager of Financial Affairs in Çalık Holding and appointed as CEO of Çalık Holding in 2007.〔Çalık Holding, (DR.
